About the Traffic Training Department
The Traffic Training Department is located in Amman near the Seventh Circle on a 35,000 square-metre site that includes specialized classrooms and training grounds.
The center opened in 1978 and was classified as a first-class driver training center. In 2010, the IRU Academy accredited it as a specialized center for the Certificate of Professional Competence for Managers and dangerous-goods transport training, as the only such center in Jordan. In 2013, it received the title of Best Training Center among 46 centers accredited by the international academy.

International Releases
The Royal Automobile Club of Jordan issues international driving permits, TIR carnets, and English vehicle ownership certificates in accordance with approved requirements and procedures.
International Releases
An official document recognized under international conventions. It supports holders of a valid Jordanian driving license when driving legally in countries that require or recommend it. It does not replace the national license and cannot be used inside Jordan.
TIR
The TIR system is an international transit and guarantee system currently implemented in many countries. It enables goods to be transported from the country of origin, through transit countries, to the destination country in cargo compartments sealed by customs and monitored through a multilateral system mutually recognized by TIR countries. It is the easiest, safest, and most reliable way to transport goods across multiple international borders, saving time and money for transport operators and customs authorities. It is also a key to faster border crossings for truck drivers, reducing costs for transport companies and customs authorities. TIR directly supports the implementation of the main objectives of the World Trade Organization Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA), including measures that enhance transparency, the release of goods, freedom of transit, customs cooperation, and the publication and availability of information.
Vehicle Documents
An English translation of the vehicle registration used when travelling outside Jordan. It serves as an identification document for the vehicle, its ownership, and its holder.
